DeVeDe

Simple program to create video DVDs and CDs.

Even though each day domestic players are compatible with a larger quantity of formats, some of them only support reading discs that have been burnt using the classic DVD, VCD or SVCD format. On the other hand, we may been interested to create discs with MPEG-4 or DivX files, or that have menus, subtitles, etc... For all that we can use DeVeDe, an intuitive application to create DVDs and CDs.

  From a very simple interface, DeVeDe will allow us to access the options that most adapts to our needs:
- Create multimedia DVD, capable of being played on any domestic player.
- Create VCD, very high compatibility with lower quality, because the files are compressed to occupy less space.
- Create SVCD (Super VCD), just like the lest option but with more image quality.
- Obtain discs in China VideoDisc format, that is another kind of Super VideoCD.
- Convert the videos to DivX and MPEG-4 videos, only apt for the latest compatible players.

  DeVeDe supports the most usual video formats (MPEG, MPEG-4, AVI, ASF, WMV, OGG, FLV, ...), is capable to add subtitles except for the format that aren't compatible, select different conversion options like the video resolution and aspect ratio, the process quality, the sound settings,.. To sum up, it is a very simple application to pack our videos onto a DVD or CD.
